Mr. Fichte speaks boldy about a lesson I feel I've lived my entire existence. Perhaps my feelings on happiness (the constant doubt that it even exists) is true. That maybe I might never feel complete or satisfied or sane, but at the least I can continue to live my life the way I know is right. I've often found myself resenting the fact that I am willing to go the distance for anyone I love, but have rarely had that kind of allegiance given in return. However, in the end, my heart overrides the selfishness of my mind and convinces me not to change. Living my life for others is the only way I've ever known to live...and hopefully it will eventually reap some good for my soul.
